What's Going On!
March 2025
March is coming in like a lion, hopefully it totally goes out like a lamb! 6 inches of snow on top of 6 inches of mud today making me so grateful my rabbits have a nice, upstairs barn loft.
Next year they will not. Hobo Queens Farm Rabbitry and C.A.R. Rabbitry will be moving in together in Prentiss Township, Maine. We'll still operate the rabbitries independantly, since I'm very picky and I want to show, and he doesn't. He also asks more money for his rabbits and meat than me.
On the showing note- Sassy Miss Lassie and Prince Charming (AKA Tex) have a gorgeous litter in the box, 1 even already popped out to explore at just over 2 weeks! I was excited to look through the AFNZRBA magazine from convention last year to see that many of Sassy's relatives did very, very, very well at convention. I guess my love for her is not the only thing that made her the best girl for Tex.
I'll be keeping a little buck from this breeding to be my fall show rabbit and 2025-2026 stud. Little "Mr. Monster" is barely eyes open, but his future is already bright!
I've got some of my props for a photo shoot and will start tattooing soon. The fun never ends.
